Word Level 1
You will create, edit, and enhance standard business documents using Microsoft® Office Word. Persons with a basic understanding of Microsoft Windows who need to learn how to use Microsoft® Word to create, edit, format, lay out, and print standard business documents complete with tables and graphics.
 
Word Level 2
You will add complexity to Microsoft® Office Word documents and create personalized efficiency tools in Microsoft® Word. This course was designed for persons who can create and modify standard business documents in Microsoft® Word, and who need to learn how to use Microsoft® Word to create or modify complex business documents as well as customized Word efficiency tools.
 
Word Level 3
You will create, manage, revise, and distribute long documents, forms, and Web pages. This course was designed for persons with a basic understanding of Microsoft Windows who can create and modify standard business documents in Microsoft® Word, and who need to learn how to use the more advanced features of Word to create, manage, revise, and distribute long documents, forms, and Web pages.

Access Level 1
You will be introduced to the features of the Access application. This course is designed for students who wish to learn the basic operations of the Access database program to perform their day-to-day responsibilities, and to understand the advantages that using a relational database program can bring to their business processes. The Level 1 course is for the individual whose job responsibilities include working with tables to create and maintain records, locate records, and produce reports based on the information in the database. It also provides the fundamental knowledge and techniques needed to advance to more technical Access responsibilities, such as creating and maintaining new databases and using programming techniques that enhance Access applications.
 
Access Level 2
You will design and create a new Access database; improve queries, forms, and reports; and integrate Microsoft® Office Access with other applications. Microsoft® Access: Level 2 is designed for the student who wishes to learn intermediate-level operations of the Microsoft® Access program. The Level 2 course is for the individual whose job responsibilities include creating new databases, tables, and relationships, as well as working with and revising intermediate-level queries, forms, and reports. It also introduces the student to integrating Access data with other applications such as Microsoft® Word or Excel.
 
Access Level 3
You will create complex Access databases using forms, reports, and macros. This course is designed for the student who wishes to learn intermediate and advanced operations of the Microsoft® Office Access database program. The Level 3 course is for the individual whose job responsibilities include working with heavily related tables; creating advanced queries, forms, and reports; writing macros to automate common tasks; and performing general database maintenance.

Outlook Level 1
You will compose and send email, schedule appointments and meetings, manage contact information and tasks, and use notes. This course is designed for people with a basic understanding of Microsoft Windows who need to learn how to use Microsoft® Outlook® to compose and send email, schedule appointments and meetings, manage contact information and tasks, and use notes.
 
Outlook Level 2
You will customize your environment, calendar, and mail messages to meet your specific needs as well as track, share, assign, and quickly locate various Outlook items. This course is designed for experienced Outlook users who need to learn how to customize their environment, calendar, and mail messages to meet their specific needs and who wish to track, share, assign, and quickly locate various Outlook items.
 
Outlook Level 3
You will communicate using Instant Messaging, personalize and organize your mail, organize Outlook items, share and link contacts, create forms, and work offline and remotely. Persons with an intermediate understanding of Outlook who need to use Outlook to communicate using Instant Messaging, personalize and organize their mail, organize Outlook items, share and link contacts, create forms, and work offline and remotely.

Excel Level 1
You will create and edit basic Microsoft® Office Excel worksheets and workbooks. This course is designed for persons preparing for certification as a Microsoft® Office Specialist in Excel, who already have knowledge of the Microsoft® Office Windows 98 (or above) operating system, and who desire to gain the skills necessary to create, edit, format, and print basic Microsoft® Excel worksheets.
 
Excel Level 2
You will apply visual elements and advanced formulas to a worksheet to display data in various formats. The target students for this course are students who desire to gain the skills necessary to create templates, sort and filter data, import and export data, analyze data, and work with Excel on the Web.
 
Excel Level 3
You will automate some common Excel tasks, apply advanced analysis techniques to more complex data sets, collaborate on worksheets with others, and share Excel data with other applications. This course was designed for students desiring to gain the skills necessary to create macros, collaborate with others, audit and analyze worksheet data, create PivotTables and PivotCharts, incorporate multiple data sources, and import and export data.

You will use Microsoft® Office PowerPoint® features that draw, animate, and format presentations with professional-quality content such that they may be communicated to a wide variety of live, remote, and self-service audiences. This course is designed for students who desire to gain the skills necessary to work with design templates, organizational charts, special effects, Web presentations, collaboration functionality, and advanced presentation delivery.

You're starting Microsoft® Publisher, which is an easy to use, flexible program for creating newsletters, brochures, business cards, postcards, flyers, among others for print, email, and the Web. In this course, you will look at how to create a publication from scratch or use one of the hundreds of business and personal designs available in Publisher. You will create, manage, revise, and distribute publications.

Students will learn the benefits of using ASP technology to create dynamic, data-driven Web sites. The course introduces the ASP Object Model, several built-in ASP Components, Scripting Objects, and the ActiveX Data Objects (ADO) Model. Students will learn how to create dynamic, database-driven Web sites. Hands-on tasks follow programming concepts, so that students can immediately implement what they learn. Target student: Students needing to transform their static HTML-only Web site into a dynamic, data-driven Web site that accesses databases, uses COM components, dynamically serves information from a variety of sources, and much more.

Students will learn how to write JavaScript programs that use the latest language techniques (version 1.3). Students will also learn how to write programs that are compatible with previous versions of the language and are cross-browser compatible. Target student: Students enrolling in this course should have a strong understanding of HTML programming and should have a basic familiarity with JavaScript. They should have examined scripts written by others and have implemented other people’s scripts on their web pages. This is a serious programming course for those students who want to gain a full understanding of this powerful programming language.
